Ms. Shaw received her Law Degree from Loyola University of Chicago, her Master of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany, and her Bachelor of Arts (with Honors) from the University of Illinois. She attended Law School while serving as a Police Officer with the City of Chicago, and retired with the rank of Lieutenant. She is a member of both the Florida Bar and the Illinois Bar, and is licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Shaw is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, and the Trusts and Estates Section of the Illinois State Bar Association. She concentrates her law practice in estate planning, and has prepared over eighteen hundred (1,800) estate plans for clients including wills and trusts, health care decision making documents, and powers of attorney. Ms. Shaw also handles estate administration, and has conducted over sixty probate and trust administrations.
Ms. Shaw has taught at Loyola University and DePaul University in Chicago. She became involved with the field of Estate Planning while caring for her mother, and serves her clients with care, compassion, and commitment. She welcomes the opportunity to speak to your organization.
